Easiest GW campaign to beat? - Guild Wars Forums

hey. I'm a new GW player (kinda) and I need help. I would like to unlock hard mode for a GW campaign because of farming reasons and collecting stuff =P

which GW campaign is the easiest to beat? I have all. I like factions the best because I level faster than in the other 2, and the places are cool and exciting! but I am stuck at tahnakai (sp) temple mission... prophecies is kinda slow for me or I just suck, lol. Nightfall is okay but I'm getting bored of sand :P still doing kournan quests... I didn't really look into eye of the north yet, the quests are fun so far (just finished the norn bear one) but the enemies seem to be a lot stronger than in other campaigns.

so yeah, what would be the easiest for a noobie newbie like me? my favorite (most played) character is dervish/monk, unlocked all continents for him and did some quests everywhere lol. but it would be easier to concentrate at one campaign at a time. maybe I should continue nightfall?

As for your question: In my opinion Factions was very easy to beat, especially if you don't care about the Protector title.
Nightfall was easy too, just boring.
Prophecies is pretty easy as well, it's just very long and slow. You can skip a lot of the missions though.
Eye of the North is definitely the hardest, though if you know what you are doing it is easy as well.

If you play a dervish I suggest finishing Nightfall first, so you can get skills and such things. Just move on to whatever campaign you want after that.

Nightfall is better if you need more skills (for a derv), heroes and money. Also unlocking HM in NF seems more useful imo.

If you plan to finish campaigns to unlock HM to farm, you might aswell want to think about what you want to farm, and which character you want to do that with and maybe aswell create and play that character as there arent alot of farming options for Dervish.

Secondly Factions is most definatly the easiest and fastest with only 10(?) missions to beat to finish it, of which I think only eternal grove/gjala hatchery and the one against kuunavang could be rough.
Though the advantage of Nightfall is that sunspear title track with its skills are quite usefull, but most of all, the heroes are very very very usefull. And for a dervish you get most of your skills in nightfall.

Thirdly, go play the game first before trying to make money and farm. Farming when you are a started if waste of time, cause later on its alot easier to make more money in the same time. Just go play that game that you bought!

My suggestion would be, finish Nightfall -> Eye of the North -> Factions -> Prophecies. Prophecies last cause its boring, long, and it sucks.

Factions has 13 missions, actually. Nightfall has 20, Prophecies 25. Eye of the North I don't know, but it's fast.

IMO, NF is the easiest, factions might be the fastest, but for a new player NF could be the easiest, as you know factions has some hard ones for a new player like Eternal or Gyala (unless doing the long way around, which is easy). I'd suggest NF, and if you're a dervish, finish your home campaign first

and I'll do Factions when I'm more experienced. I have a few lvl20 characters already but I like Dervish the best. I use a great earth - scythe - myst build for quests/missions and I want to use the 130hp build for farming. I got some farming location hints but those are sooo far away from my unlocked locations lol. so I'll just try to not think about farming now and concentrate on the game =P

Factions was both fun and easy. Despite only yielding 13 mission all of them were fun and interesting which made up for the low number of missions. Although it's not my favorite campaign I would say it's the easiest.
